As soon as you see Cass miss her Q or use it on minions, look to pelt her with two or three autos before waiting for her next Q.How is it going guys! My name is Rezone and I'm a Master Tier Midlane main. That mr shard is all it takes to differentiate between a close fight and if your team happens to get mountain drag + your magic resist from items it will stack up and help you further in surviving her all-in. Make sure to take magic resist in your runes, I have vsed soamy ADCs who default to armor shard even when vsing a Cass.

You want to be building some defensive items into your core items to help you survive because that's what your main goal is as an ADC: the longer you are alive the more dps you will pump out. You will also need magic resist such as QSS and defensive items such as PD to help survive her all-in. Some tips would be to get tier2 boots early to help dodge her poison. In this way, you will be close to your tower, not allowing her to run you down while being safe to retreat if she all-ins you. Once your minion wave starts thinning out, back off as this will be her window to run you down using the whole lane.

You have two options: if you are a lane bully ADC (MF, Ashe, Caitlyn, Varus etc) you can either shove Cass under tower so that you can get free harass off her while she tries to farm but in doing so, you must have vision down beforehand to spot enemy rotations. I recommend taking Cleanse since Cass will usually take tp so you won't be at a Heal disadvantage. In the instance when the Cass respects your lvl 2 all-in, simply walk up and push her off the cs while you farm peacefully.Īfter lvl6, you must be wary of her ult. In both of these circumstances, you win because you will be able to chunk her or even burn her Flash. She will only have her E to fight back, leaving her with two options: continuing pushing for lvl 2 in order to fight back, or back off allowing you to continue pressuring her.

If you get lvl 2 before Cass, all-in her if she does not respect the lvl differences with your support. At lvl 1, you want to do two things: push for lvl 2 while harassing Cass when she goes for cs. Cass' weakest point in the game is early game when she hasn't purchased Tear yet because she will only have enough mana for one fight. So yeah, if you are better at dodging skillshots than she is at landing skillshots, you can clown on her.Ĭass is immobile just like most traditional ADCs, so naturally engage/hook supports will give her a hard time. Similarly, her r is a strong stun if you are facing her, but if you are fast enough, you can turn around and it no longer stuns. The tradeoff is that when she lands q or w, she is significantly stronger than most adcs. If she whiffs q/w, she basically doesn't do anything. Most of her damage comes from her e, but it only deals useful damage to poisoned targets. That sounds like a cop out, but the big difference between cass and a normal adc is that cass's damage is unreliable. Once she gets tear, she has far fewer mana issues, but she is still primarily good at all ins. She is extremely strong in that one fight, but she can't trade much outside of that one fight, and if she goes for the fight and you survive, she will probably be oom and you can push her around at will. Before she gets tear, she has the mana for one fight. In lane, you need to avoid or disengage all ins while poking her out.
